Things to do on a rainy day September 2008

Ok so you might think this is a little unconventional and possibly unsafe but the kids were tired of the rain and being cooped up so we moved the couch and cleared the front room as best we could and set up the jump house and had a ball. This is one of Noelle's good friends Brie and she spent the night and got in on the action too.

Stop and smell the roses

Touville Park

During the summer it was nice to run over to Touville and cool off a bit. We would run up the grassy embankment and float down this little section and take turns. The kids had fun catching crawdads and water snails. It was a good way to spend the afternoon. Josh would take one of the small blow up boats and tie a rope to it and tie the other end around his waist and let the kids float down to a little part of the stream that had some rappids and we would weave in and out of it as Josh pulled us in or let the slack go. That was a lot of fun.

This Fall Kyle had an awesome time playing football. For the first part of the
season he was on the 8th grade J.V. Team and then bumped up to Varsity
where the whole season they were undefeated.
