Josh and Michelle

Over spring break we all headed down to California to have some fun! My sister and I carpooled down from Oregon . She took Kyle, Noelle and Aunt Marilyn and of course her daughter Kayla in her car while Josh and I had the rest of our crew. We met up with my cousin Linda her two sons Nick and Andy. Julie MacDonelle (long time family friend) came down too. Needless to say my mom and dad had a full house. We had so much fun! We played walley ball and the kids took turns driving grandpa's tractor.

We also got to go up and play at Granny B's. so it was nonstop fun! We watched movies
Gabby (Josh's sister) came up and showed us how to play a fun card game. The kids loved going to Granny B's restaurant (Primo Burgers) and getting to order what ever they wanted. The milkshakes were a hit. In the evening we jumped in Granny B's hot tub and looked at the stars. It was wonderful!

On Monday we all headed down to Disneyland. Grandma and Grandpa made reservations for everyone to stay at the Carousel Hotel right across from the Disneyland entrance. We had a three day hopper pass to both Disneyland and California Adventure. We got up early, packed a lunch, and headed on over to have some fun! The first day we headed over to California Adventure and we all went on all kinds of rides. For part of the time we were all together and then the older kids split up for a while to do some of the roller coaster rides. Then we would all meet up again. We would go on rides all day long only stopping to eat and be back for more. I think we were at the park until closing time every single night squeezing as much fun in as possible. These are some of the pictures that were taken on our trip. They are not in any order. Some are in Disneyland and some are from California Adventure.

Star Wars is a pretty big thing in our house so when we were at Disneyland and they had a show where they chose kids out of the audience to fight Darth Vader and Darth Maul. The boys were ecstatic and instantly wanted to become Jedi Knights. Poor Ben wanted to be on the stage soooo bad it was all he could talk about. It took going to the show three times and both Jesse and Ben were beside themselves when they were chosen out of the audience.

Each of us had a buddy so no one would get lost. Grandpa and Jesse were the dudes.
Jesse really liked California Screamin. He was glad that he was tall enough to get on the ride.

We watched a bug show with these cool 3D glasses. During the show there were
butterflies that looked like they were right in front of us. Barbie would reach out her hands and try to catch it. During the show there was a stink bug that sprayed us and it smelt quite lovely.There was a spider that shot acorns at the audience and a termite that spit acid at us and we actually got wet. It was fun!

Granny B. was able to come down for a few hours and play with us too!
She had each of the kids pick out a really cool hat. We had so much fun with everyone!
