Barbie was in awe and couldn't believe that

the big man himself was in our living room.

Naughty or Nice???

Jolly Saint Nick made a special trip our house. He talked

to each of the kids to find out if they had been

good and what they might like for Christmas.

Nikki wanted to know what kind of food Rodolph liked

to eat and so Santa told her that he liked carrots.

On Christmas eve she left out a plate of carrots for him
and the rest of the reindeer.

This is Halloween! This is Halloween!

After Kyle finished carving his pumpkin he liked it

so much that he said he was going to cut a hole

in the bottom and it would be his costume. I wasn't too

sure about his plan and told him that his pumpkin

weighed a ton. He didn't care. He had made his mind up.

We went over to Karen & Kayla's place to go trick or treating.

Kayla is doing the funky chicken.

Ben was going to be a dwarf but when he saw how cool

Kyle was he wanted to be just like him.

Jesse of course wanted to be Darth Vader.

Noelle is a mime

So there is a story behind Noelle's costume. I thought a

great finishing touch to her outfit would be to spray paint her

hair white. While I was at Walmart I saw the stuff for a

dollar and thought wow that's not a bad deal.

Hair spray that gives you color. They had white, red, blue and orange.

Since we were going with the black and white theme I grabbed

The can of white. Noelle was reluctant but I talked her into it.
After we were done trick or treating she went into the shower.

When she came out her hair was still white. She went into the

shower again and scrubbed and scrubbed and her hair was still

white. Needless to say there is a reason it was so cheap. It took an

entire week to eventually start to wear off. It was awful!

Carving Pumpkins

Our neighbor down the road had planted a huge garden of

gigantic pumpkins and told us to come on down and take

as many as we wanted . Some of the pumpkins were so enormous

it was difficult for both Kyle and I to lift into the car. I bet they

weighed over 75 lbs. We planted a bunch of small pumpkins

in our garden but I think next year I'll get the

Goliath seeds to plant. We had so much fun carving them

and the kids were quite imaginative.

Hanley Farm

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We were on our way to play

at the park when I noticed Hanley Farm was giving out free rides and

so we had to stop. Hanley Farm is a neat place to visit. There is so

much rich history here. I love the old farm house. The orchards are

still kept in pristine condition and the same grape vines that have

been there for generations ran along the trellises. It was fun to see

all the old farm equipment too. After we were done we

headed on over to the park to run around, jump and climb.

Crater took down the Vikings

Crater had a pretty good season. It was fun watch the games.

With our family cheering we made quite the racket.

Kyle claimed he didn't know who the rowdy bunch in the

corner were.
